During the 8th HTI Conference, a checkpoint in cooperation with the non-profit association Healthy under Sun (Zdravi pod suncem) will be offered: several Croatian dermatologists from the Croatian Clinical Hospital Sisters of Charity (KBC Sestre Milosrdnice) led by Dr Sanja Poduje, will perform preventive checks of skin and moles to all interested participants, and provide recommendations for further care and therapy if needed. Through continuous activities and lobbying, the association is investing strong efforts in educating people on the impact of sun and UV radiation exposure, thus raising awareness about prevention in healthcare. By supporting this association, HTI wants to strengthen its corporate social responsibility and make a statement as a socially responsible business platform.
