The winners of ESPA Innovation Awards 2019 were announced on May, 9th 2019 in Terme Tuhelj, Croatia.
ESPA – European Spas Association, an umbrella organization representing 20 European countries with the global objective to promote spa medicine in Europe, created ESPA Innovation Awards to honour entities developing new approach to any aspect of spa and health resorts.
In 2019 ESPA rewarded the following entities in eight categories:
Innovative Medical Spa: Hotel Premiera Aqua – Aqua Medica Center (Serbia)
Innovative Spa and Health Resort Destination: Albena – European Sport Resort 2019 (Bulgaria)
Innovative Spa Hotel: Spirit Hotel (Hungary)
Innovative Health Spa Concept: Herculum SPA (Romania)
Innovative Health Spa Program: The NLFI Spa and medical clinic Heilsustofnun (Island)
Innovative Spa Products: Thermelove Sulphur Spa Cosmetics (Czech Republic)
Innovative Spa Educational Program: International Institute of Technology Deggendorf (Germany)
Innovative Spa Research & Education: Dr. Antonella Fioravanti from Italy, professor of Rheumatology at the Siena University
Additional five participants were awarded with the special jury awards for their excellent quality of services and innovation.
