The 6th edition of the European Medical Tourism event, EMT 2022, will take place in Abano Terme near Venice, Italy, live in person. This year 40 local and international companies and 80 persons are attending as exibitors, buyers will be over 80 companies and around 150 persons. Around 40 speakers from different countries will share their insights. As previously, the EMT offers a rich program of Conference & Networking including round tables about market trends and patients and several B2B face to face meetings. For the first time ever, EMT includes roundtables and networking with insurances.
The leading Italian conference of its kind connects European health tourism business partners such as hospitals, clinics, thermal centres and medical hotels which can meet facilitators, medical travel agencies, medical consultants, medical insurances and welfare representatives.
For the second time, EMT includes the World Contest & Awards for Medical Tourism – a jury composed of facilitators, travel agencies and doctors will reward the most excellent clinics, thermal centers & medical spas.
Started in 2016 the EMT 2019 was attended by over 150 buyers, 100 sellers and 20+ speakers. In 2021 the workshop took place live in person, due to the pandemic with a slightly reduced amount of attendees.
The organizers of EMT are World Fine Selections (WFS), the Italian Associations for the Promotion of Medical and Thermal Tourism (AIPMT) and BookingsMed, in collaboration with DoctorGeo, Ukraine.
