Berj K. Apkarian, MHA, Vice President of Physicians and International Health Relations, Community Medical Centers, USA

Berj K. Apkarian has a graduate degree in health care services from California State University, Fresno, and he is a health care executive working for Community Medical Centers since 1996.  Currently he holds the position of Vice President of Physicians and International Health Relations.  He leads physician strategy at a corporate level working with the Corporate Chief Executive Officer and facility leadership of the acute care facilities.  In addition, he promote international medical missions to improve the health in other countries consistent with CMC’s mission.  Mr. Apkarian is also in charge of developing CMC’s strategy to promote international patient services and medical tourism for tertiary care under the direction of CMC corporate CEO.

He is married to Arpi Apkarian and they have four boys.  In 2014, Mr. Apkarian was appointed the 1st Honorary Consul for the Republic of Armenia in the United States.  Mr. Apkarian is also a part time faculty at California State University, Fresno.  He has been lecturing since 1998 to present.
